This position plays a key role in the ability for the company to set strategy and achieve its sales goals. You will be responsible for providing support to the sales department in the areas of forecasting, planning, commission plan development and day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate metrics and priorities are being set and met. DUTIES

  • Oversee the flow of operations throughout the sales cycle, utilizing Salesforce.com and acting as a liaison between the marketing department, solution engineering department, the sales organization and the finance team to identify and capitalize on opportunities and leads, efficiently and effectively respond to inquiries, and follow through on tracking sales through closing and billing.
  • Coordinate the sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting process used within the organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the planning effort.
  • Develop and disseminate sales reports and other intelligence essential to the organization in making key business decisions.
  • Identify and address process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitate continuous improvement throughout the sales process.
  • Team with the marketing department to define follow-up plans for key marketing campaigns; understand and communicate market themes, messages, and assets.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree, preferably in Finance or Business
  • Five or more years of Sales Operations experience.
  • Expertise in the entire suite of Microsoft Office products and administrator-level proficiency withSalesforce.com.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to motivate, drive, and manage a team objective through highly collaborative interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and creativity.
