Positions in this function are responsible for leading and/or executing sales, distribution, & operational analytics and reporting. This position provides critical visibility, insight, and analysis helping guide and direct the business from both a daily sales/operational management and long-term strategy and planning perspective.
Responsible for the designing/developing, programming, maintaining and publishing of Collaborative Care sales, distribution, & operational reports. Provides operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as needed. Analysis may be done for internal operational purposes as well as for customers.
Develop and maintain, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reporting
Deliver reports per the report schedule, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to meet internal and external customer needs
Gather data from multiple data sources such as CRM, Excel, databases, web tools, etc
Work with business owners to define and develop future report solution requirements
Conduct data analysis in support of key operation and customer metrics
Communicate key findings, identified issues/concerns and results
Maintain accurate information that will support our business continuity plan; this includes creating and maintaining data dictionaries, report matrix and procedure documentation
Provides operational analysis for decision making
May make recommendations based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as needed.
Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical operational reporting processes/issues
Appropriately escalate issues to management for support and/or guidance
Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement

5+ years experience in data analytics & reporting Required
5+ years business analyst experience Required
Expert skill level in data manipulation via Excel (pivot charts, graphs, functions) Required
Experience working with Salesforce.com and other CRM applications is strongly Preferred
Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid marketing, sales, & distribution Required
Working knowledge of Health plan and provider-side sales & distribution Preferred
Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a virtual team environment
A background in the healthcare or insurance field is strongly Preferred
Ability to travel up to 25%
