Manager of User Experience, Creative Services

As a User Experience (UX) Manager, you will be a key part of Panera Bread's growing digital team. We understand the importance of user-based, intuitive and engaging design. As a UX Manager, you will be responsible for developing and evolving user interfaces and experiences for our mobile, web, and desktop applications. Our designers must be able to articulate and balance design rationale with business goals and user needs. Ideal candidates should have a strong perspective on information architecture for usability in order to create and communicate detailed design and functional requirements through all stages of the product development process. The position requires both a creative visual thinker as well as an inherently analytical and detail-oriented mind. While working in a collaborative environment, you will be responsible for helping define and realize product features in aggressive timelines.

Accountabilities:
Work with client business stakeholders to gather requirements and input for the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications and development of new products and features

Create dynamic mobile (iOS, Android, HTML5), web, and desktop application interface flows from design concept to implementation

Create project definition and experience briefs, user stories, flow diagrams, wireframes, visual comps, and rapid, lightweight interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and concepts

Work with development teams to ensure compatibility and quality of application

Maintain a good understanding of target audience and industry UI trend

Thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment

Work with the Marketing and IS teams in developing new processes, system design tools and design guidelines.

Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audience at various levels of the organization.

Qualifications

5+ years of applicable experience in the digital space

Strong skills in mobile design/usability, including knowledge of interface guidelines for iOS and Android platforms

Strong skills in crafting effective user flows, wireframes and interactions

Solid understanding of interaction design fundamentals and best practices

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

An interest in working in a collaborative team environment

Ability to produce high-quality work quickly, iterating toward the best solutions

Demonstrated ability to deliver results, prioritize activities, and manage time and project effectively

Working knowledge of HTML (preferably HTML 5), CSS (including CSS 3), JavaScript (including jQuery) a plus

Strong visual design skills a plus
