Job Location:

US - NY - Endicott

Overview:

This is a fulltime regular position in the Semiconductor Packaging manufacturing on 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities:

- This position requires previous experience operating DES (Develop, Etch, Strip) equipment –

Operate and certify on at least four non-complex operations/processes. –

Performs operations as defined by specifications –

General understanding of overall process within current department –

Review own and others work output for conformance to standards –

Achieve productivity standards –

Achieve quality targets –

Is accountable for individual results –

Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management and quality systems requirements –

Knowledge and participation in the 5S Program –

Participate in Business Excellence Program

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Skills:

- Experience on Profile / Grind equipment

- Positive attitude

- Ability to multitask

- Attention to detail

- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight schedules

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Flexibility to cross train and apply skills in all areas of the department –

Manufacturing experience with technical insight on specific equipment or processes –

Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general manufacturing designs/drawings/diagrams –

Computer skills and use of computer programs/software specific to the manufacturing process, tracking and traceability of product –

Understands processes and procedures and can recognize non-conformance or problems in production processes –

Good working knowledge of SAP

Qualifications – Education/Experience: –

High school or equivalent –

Basic reading, writing and math skills –

Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing –

Typically requires 1 year of prior manufacturing experience

Physical/Environmental Requirements: –

Requires visual acuity (visual ability to resolve fine detail) and manual dexterity (fine hand and finger movements) –

Requires limited supervision for routine processes, can implement changes with detailed instruction –

Must be available for overtime work –

Must be able to stand for periods up to 4 hours –

Must be able to lift at least 10lbs frequently; up to 35lbs occasionally and heavier weights with assistance –

Must be able to wear required safety protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes and glasses –

May work in a clean room environment and wear clean room attire –

Must be able to work with or around chemicals
