are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, New Product Development Lead,
for our Tulsa, Oklahoma location. This position will provide direction and
leadership to a team of individuals that will integrate new products into
manufacturing. This includes cell layout,
tooling design, time studies, routings, process flow, PFEMAs, work
instructions, PV builds, test strategy, and operator training. This position will require close interface
with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Production, and Supply
Chain. Individual will need to interface
with outside engineering resources and understand supplier’s processes and
tooling requirements.


Job Elements for this position include:
1. Provide
leadership to the NPD Team

  • Provide
direction to a team of individuals to design processes for new products in

  • Schedule
NPD resources for upcoming projects and manage conflicts

  • Work
with functional supervisors to determine resource needs as well as ME leaders
from other sites

2. Provide
Manufacturing Engineering support for NPD

  • Participate
in Level 1 meetings to provide manufacturing input

  • Define
assembly strategy for production of new products

  • Design
new assembly equipment & tooling

  • Participate

  • Collect
and analyze data from assembly operations

  • Conduct
time studies and produce product routings and standard work

  • Lead
PV builds and train operators

3. Support

  • Drive
Poke Yoke manufacturing solutions for new products

  • Work
with R&D engineering to ensure DFM (Design For Manufacturability)

  • Participate
in gage R&R and MSA

4. Support

  • Establish
solutions to safety near misses

  • Design
manufacturing cells to meet company safety standards

5. Personal

  • Learn
how our products work and how they are used

  • Stay
abreast of new manufacturing technologies in order to provide error free
processing of new products

Requirements : B.S.
Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

and Skills : A minimum of 3 years as a manufacturing
engineer, integrating new products into manufacturing or as a mechanical
engineer in new product design. Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six
Sigma is preferred.
