What You'll Do
John Deere Cylinder Division in Moline, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering support to production for assembly operations. You will possess a strong focus on process improvement, project management, product costing, routings and standards. In addition, you will:
Make tooling decisions and capital investment recommendations.
Perform root cause analysis when production experiences quality, process or machine downtime.
Provide as-needed support to Cylinder Saltillo and Cylinder Ningbo. What It Takes
We need an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience. In addition, we require:
A minimum of 2 years within a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing role.
PLC Programming experience.
Motion & time study experience.
Experienced in Quality principles.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to provide occasional off-shift support; minimal travel, less than 10%.
A strong candidate may also have:
PLC Programming and Automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
W-Planner experience.
C-Projects Work- Flow.
