The Manufacturing Engineer Contribution:
Proactively participate in product design reviews to ensure parts and products are designed for manufacturability

Directly oversee the investigation, written recommendations and implementation of all new equipment and facilities projects that affect manufacturing

Use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot problems, find root causes, and develop and implement corrective actions

Conduct and participate in Continuous Improvement events

Required Skills

The Successful Kinze Manufacturing Engineer

The ideal candidate will enjoy adding value and continuously improving our growing company. We prefer a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, however we will consider degrees in Industrial Technology or Operations Management with 5-7 years experience in a similar manufacturing role (fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing). Lean Manufacturing knowledge, OSHA/Industrial safety requirements familiarity, and thorough understanding of quality systems and process control are much needed strengths. Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, blue print reading skills, and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills are required.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:
Microsoft Office Suite, 3D Modeling, and CAD software with MRP Systems experience

Advanced MS Excel, Intermediate MS Word and PowerPoint knowledge

Ability to think strategically and identify trends

Farm or agricultural equipment background preferred
