Responsibilities: Order entry and maintenance of change orders, review purchase orders, enter orders (and order changes) into Lawson while working with Production Control to validate committed lead times. Maintain critical documents storage on our server. Assist in the development of CMSD standards for the use of SFDC and implement those standards.

Coordinate order related activity to facilitate an on-time and under budget performance, update and maintain order status logs, monitor labor and material variances during project execution. Escalate bottlenecks and delays through established escalation practices. Inform and coordinate with coworkers to understand scheduled activities in their areas of control. Coordinate details with CMSD customers to execute timely and professional communication to obtain required technical information from them and to keep them informed of project status.

Coordinate Continuous Improvement activities by initiating root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventative action activities within Manufacturing Operations. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure CMSD customer requirements are clearly understood and communicated. Coordinate and participate in problem solving opportunities within Manufacturing Operations when revealed by CMSD order fulfillment challenges. Audit part pricing accuracy; prepare reports that will facilitate an awareness of part pricing accuracy.

Assist in the development and execution of cost reduction or pricing strategies to correct negative performers. Support customer visits; book conference rooms and coordinate required resources. Support quoting activity; track open RFQ ’s and ensure communication is maintained during the quoting cycle. Support cost estimation with administrative support on large estimation projects.

Audit customer furnished documents. Prepare Quality Assurance data packages to fulfill customer requirements; review incoming material specifications against purchase order requirements to ensure compliance. Assist in the development of standard reports and financial reviews. Maintain departmental filing of paper documents.

Skills: Proficient in SalesForce.com and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Strong technical aptitude with expertise in Manufacturing practices and processes. Detail oriented with a passion for process control and continuous improvement.

Experienced problem solver with well-developed skills of collaboration. Education/Experience: 2 years ’ experience in Business Administration processes and fundamentals. 2 years ’ experience selling to an industrial customer base or in a customer service role. Formal training accomplished in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Work experience with formal MRP systems, familiarity with Lawson is preferred. Exposure to and familiarity with Industrial Manufacturing practices, methodologies, and processes. A preference will be placed on candidates with some Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering education.
