The Manufacturing Technician is expected to actively participate in all facets of the manufacturing process in accordance with Brooks Quality System, with the primary objective of ensuring the repeatable manufacturing of high quality products and on time delivery. This position requires superb communication skills, as correspondence with other departments (Engineering, Quality, Accounting, Sales and Marketing) will be a part of daily work. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers will also be highly beneficial. Must be a motivated self-starter, be well organized, detail focused, and have a desire for professional growth.

Responsibilities: Perform all facets of product assembly. Support Inventory and Shipping and receiving. Follow and reference assembly instructions, test procedures, Bills of Material, and other documents used in the manufacture of products. Inspect and package consumables. Determines or may assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process. Provides resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. May prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel, and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.

Required Skills: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 1-2 years additional education/training or trade school (2-year Associates degree preferred). Comfortable working within a Windows environment with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Basic understanding of core desktop computer components and peripherals. Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively.
