We require a high caliber processing geophysicist to join the GX Technology team working on seismic imaging projects. This includes pre-migration conditioning through to state of the art depth migration. Data processed is from both Marine and Land and increasingly will involve full wave acquisition, which measures both P and S waves.

GX Technology, which is part of ION Geophysical Corporation, has built a reputation as one of the leading providers of seismic imaging services. Typically this requires solving some of the most difficult seismic problems to both reveal and correctly position subsurface events. To meet this challenge, we need people with a good balance of technical and project management skills. Understanding client objectives and constraints are important factors in providing the best overall solution.

Our technically demanding projects will quickly introduce you to the full range of seismic challenges and leading geophysical technologies making use of both industry standard and proprietary software.

Once fully proficient with the technology and workflows, there will be opportunities for overseas assignments, both short and long term.
