As the Maritime Security Investigator, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your excellent analytical and organizational skills to assure internal, external and onboard regulatory compliance for the largest and most successful cruise line in the world!
Responsibilities: Maintain lines of communication with Ship Commands and CCL department heads Liaise with local, state, federal and international law enforcement and maritime regulatory agencies Assure compliance of all regulatory requirements contained within the following: International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS); Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA); and Cruise Vessel Safety and Security Act 2010 (CVSSA 2010) and maintain records of that compliance. Update and Maintain Ship Security Plans and assure compliance with all provisions of the plans. Oversee internal and external security audits and assure corrective, preventative action and provide verification for any corrective action. Oversee Annual In-Service Training for Shipboard Staff Captains and Chief Security Officers Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of five years with an organized government agency and law enforcement experience. Prior experience and knowledge of ISPS, MTSA and CVSSA 2010 Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred Highly detail-oriented and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Excellent interpersonal skills and English verbal/written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Word Suite Ability to travel, and have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as well as be certified in International Ship and Port Facility Security or in Maritime Transportation Security
