The Market Analyst works with clients to determine what their needs are and determine the best course of action to accomplish the goal. The position utilizes various research tools and techniques to analyze the healthcare environment of the region and determines the impact on various specialties and services; cultivates and maintains the technical knowledge needed to make recommendations about investment in necessary hardware and software to support the organizations evolving data-related needs; develops, administers and analyzes surveys and focus group results to enhance business knowledge and strategic planning; and maintains a high level of knowledge regarding the infrastructure of the data systems. Data analysis responsibilities include: identification of data sources inside and outside the organization, understanding and using market research data and tools, development and administration of databases, strong statistical analysis, producing detailed graphics and reports, and integrating and summarizing market research and business information for decision making. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
One year of experience in database development and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
