is an integral part of the Sales and Marketing team. The position is responsible for developing and managing portfolios on key competitors, following market trends and providing information to sales and marketing that will drive sales efforts.
Develop and manage portfolios on key competitors; product features & benefits, price position, go to market strategy, corporate structure and overall value proposition.
Coordinate with Danfoss Global Marketing regarding competitor situation and activities.
Determine standard process and format for method of supplying market related information in a consistent manner.
Coordinate and manage Prospecting / Lead Generation program and tracking of results.
Conduct surveys and provide research results (market size, segment trends, customer insights, etc.).
Provide quarterly reports regarding sales developments and trends
Oversee and support sales data input to routine internal tracking tools used by the local and global organization.
Responsible for establishing process for maintaining and updating market research information on a routine basis in a timely manner.
4-yr. Degree: Business, Marketing or equivalent experience with 2-yr degree.
2 yrs. of overall work experience in a business-to-business (B2B) office environment or experience involving market trend analysis research or generation and qualification of potential prospects in an industrial segment.
Experienced and competent with SAP operating systems.
Experience with the sales channel coordination with independent partner networks; e.g. – distribution, representatives, etc.
Experience in cross-departmental coordination and activities to support product development and enhancements.

Able to manage and prioritize variable work demands including multiple projects at one time.
High level of motivation and tenacity.
Strong organizational skills.
PC skills, with competency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Windows applications.

Willingness to travel to some degree as required (including International travel).
