KM Proppants, LLC is currently seeking a
to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who plays an integral role in the growth and development of this new business. Responsibilities will include:
Driving point-of-view development for targeted oilfield commodities (value chain analysis, supply/demand modeling, mapping trade flows, etc.)
Tracking North American rig activity and generating insightful research and analysis
Providing economic modeling and financial analysis in support of commercial agreements, physical trades, and development of pricing strategies
Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, terminal operators, and internal logistics team to originate and frame physical trading opportunities
Performing competitive analysis and valuation screening for potential acquisition targets
+2 years analytical experience with focus on point-of-view development, market analysis, and/or business valuations
Strong economic thinking skills with demonstrated ability to analyze value chains and build supply and demand models
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to seamlessly interact with diverse constituencies
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field involving quantitative analysis
Prior exposure to upstream side of the oil and gas industry
Project management experience
Experience with Microsoft Access

For the successful candidate, working for KM Proppants will allow immediate access to actionable deal flow as well as near term potential to source and structure physical trades. There will also be significant growth potential for the business and would create a multitude of opportunities for the candidate. Also, a limited travel schedule supports work/life balance.
