Work Effects is currently seeking a self-directed, highly motivated, fast-learning individual who is eager to take on new challenges to serve as our Market Analyst.The ideal candidate will have experience with collecting and analyzing market information and will possess the ability to work closely with senior management to interpret findings and proposing a course of action. The Market Analyst will have responsibilities in the realm of developing a research plan, analyzing results and presenting information to senior management to influence the marketing plan. Additionally, he/she will be providing information and insights regarding customers, markets, competitors, and campaign effectiveness, and to support business decisions at Work Effects.
Conducting industry analysis to uncover major trends and competitive forces Conducting market research to analyze competitors and understand customer needs Completing competitive analysis to build our competitive advantage Identifying new market opportunities Managing market segmentation and targeting Providing ROI (return on investment) analysis of all marketing campaign and sales activities Generating reports that offer insights about product potential and marketing strategies
Student or recent graduate in marketing, HR, HRD, business, or related field Solid business acumen, analytical, and problem solving skills Knowledge of marketing, sales, and business process Effective time management Excellent written communication skills Strong presentation skills Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to work independently Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office Interest in exploring the HR and Consulting industries
Internship dates: January 28th-May 10th, 2013
