•College Degree required, MBA a plus

•15+ years of relevant experience in the Energy industry

•Experience with enterprise level software such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, PeopleSoft or business process management solutions

•Software sales support/overlay experience a plus

•Business and Systems Integration consulting background a plus

•Demonstrated business value delivery (business case development)

•Ability to understand and work with a variety of people on matrix teams (team player & quick learner)

Job Description:
Position Purpose

This individual will be responsible for building Software AG’s business across the Energy industry sector. In addition, this individual will drive the strategy and execution of Software AG in the Energy industry across the North American sales region. They will also contribute to the development of reusable solutions for common industry business problems.

Essential Job Functions

•Develop the Software AG business in the Energy industry by leading effort to generate Business Process Excellence (BPE) license revenue

•Act as the Software AG “subject matter expert” in the Energy industry

•Define Go-to-Market strategy by describing sales territories and marketing game plan with internal team alignment

•Coordinate efforts with the Partner Development team to align resources for delivering solution-based projects

•Create enablement tools with corresponding sales tools, methodology, process and training

•Drive marketing programs with the Field Marketing to fill pipeline with sales qualified leads

•Produce and support content creation for thought leadership and ongoing marketing activities
