MarketStar's FlexTeam currently has an opportunity available for a full-time Market Manager who will serve as the main point of contact within the assigned region and will ultimately be responsible for providing on-going services for our clients. This Market Manager position will be responsible for final interviewing and hiring of the region's field team, managing all aspects of their training and team execution, as well as completion of all reports and overall performance to the goals and metrics of the program. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to communicate regularly regarding reporting and tracking performance metrics to goal. In addition, you will be responsible for expense control and adherence to all company policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all events in geographic areas are assigned, accepted and completed as per clientÂ
Motivate and mentor the assigned reps in the field to accomplish all agreed upon tasks and projectsÂ
Develop and maintain a pool of reps sufficient to staff specific retail locationsÂ
Work with Recruiting Department to ensure all retail locations are staffedÂ
Conduct new hire training as well as on-going training for assigned repsÂ
Conduct ride-along visits with reps and to specified retailersÂ
Develop and maintain relationships with store managementÂ
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree preferredÂ
2 years sales management experience preferredÂ
3 years sales experience (preferably in the retail space)Â
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skillsÂ
Tech savvy with a passion for new and upcoming technologyÂ
Strong computer knowledge and skillsÂ
Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive and professionalÂ
Results driven, able to work as part of a team and under pressureÂ
Sound time management and organizational skillsÂ
Ability to work weekends if necessary – as dictated by account needsÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Must have reliable transportation
