Performs a wide variety of analytical and data management work to promote expansion of passenger and cargo enterprises at the airport. Collects and organizes data from systems, surveys interviews, or other sources and develops summaries and observations. Performs analysis of operational processes, efficiency, and effectiveness, of strategic goals, financial plans, and budgets. Provides input to budgeting and planning processes. This level can be a promotional level from Analyst based on experience, demonstrated skills, and appropriate level and volume of assignments.

Performs complex specialized analysis of airport operations, processes, productivity and effectiveness
Maintains ongoing reporting and analysis systems to provide continuing indicators of airport operational
performance and trend analysis.
Develops specialized reports of department or external trends, developments, issues, etc for use in strategic
planning, goal setting, budget development, etc.
Participates as a member of department and cross-organization teams to improve processes and productivity.
Plans and carries out special research or analysis projects as needed; frequently leads a project team.
Prepares reports and presentations of findings and recommendations. Presents to senior department
leadership, the Mayor’s staff and/or to Council.
Decision Making Determines priorities, work methods, and work time line in assignments. Uses judgment and discretion in developing recommendations
Serves as a technical resource or mentor to other employees. May lead or instruct less experienced workers in analytical methods.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of organizational, financial, and operational analysis. Skill in communicating effectively both orally and in writing with department personnel, outside officials, professionals and the general public. Advanced ability to prepare and deliver logical summaries and conclusions related to organizational, planning, budgeting, and other advice.
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Aviation, Business/Public Administration, or a related field required, masters preferred; 1-3 years' of progressively responsible professional supervisory, analytical, or consulting experience required, 4-5 years experience preferred.
Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license before, or once hired.
