At Scopely, the publishing pipeline is driven by the insights provided by our Market Research Analyst. Your role will be to help build the Scopely game portfolio, identifying the most exciting opportunities as part of our business development team. You have top notch research and analytical skills, and you’re the type of person who loves the challenge of studying a mobile gaming ecosystem that is constantly evolving.
What will you do?
To help drive the overall Scopely business, you will provide ongoing analysis of the mobile gaming ecosystem. Your insights will inform the direction and overall approach of our Business Development team.
Own and execute on research surrounding games, developers, trends, demographics and technologies in the mobile application space.
Organize the data you’ve collected into intel that helps drive business decisions
Identify potential partnerships and business opportunities, running models and analysis through in-depth market research.
Identify and establish contact with mobile app developers for potential partnerships
What do you need?
You are a modern day analyst : you think in terms of excel functions. You have experience working with large data sets and you love manipulating complex models to solve problems.
You won’t take no for an answer : you’re creative in your analyses. When faced with a challenging question, you pride yourself on designing a creative approach and relentlessly striving for the answer.
You’re a gamer : in particular, a mobile gamer. You play games and you love talking about them.
You care… a lot : you possess excellent writing skills, are highly organized, and are a proactive self-thinker with attention to detail.
You’ve got good roots : you studied Business Admin, Economics, Mathematics or other related fields and have continued to hone your analytical skills. Or, you augmented your Art History Degree with 2+ years as an analyst at a top bank, consulting firm, VC/PE firm, etc.
