Gaming Hospitality Executive has been retained to assist a company identify a candidate with experience in developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing plans; assures the success of all banquet events, maximizes profitability and customer satisfaction. Job description for the position of Catering & Banquet Sales Manager is as follows: Responsible for Meeting Space Management thru Sales & Catering Software Responsible for Internal/External Communications as follows: 1. BEO development, execution, signatures and distribution. Both internal and retail events. 2. Change log or change order forms. Both internal and retail events. 3. Resumes and Week-At-A-Glance/Weekly Events Listings. 4. Check daily for all functions, times and locations against meeting plans. 5. Responsible for ensuring pacing goals weekly, monthly and annually Responsible for Meetings as follows: 1. Conduct weekly BEO/event order and Pre-Con review meeting effectively and concisely. 2 .Up-selling/Financial Responsibilities include up selling and maximization of revenue opportunities Responsible for Service Standards as follows: 1. As part of TVR service standards, greet every client first day or event and check in on them each day. Responsible for Property Knowledge: 1 .Affluent in all meeting/event space, function space including pool area, restaurants and banquet capacities and setups. 2. Knowledgeable of the restaurant capacity/capability and AV capabilities of the property. 3. Knowledgeable of all group event capabilities across the property such as Concierge, Transportation, etc. Responsible for Maintain/Monitor Pricing: 1. A price sheet for all sellable equipment/services that is current and competitive is presentable to the client. Responsible for Maintaining Vendor List: 1. A current vendor list is in place. This list appropriately matches the needs of the property and is accessible to other key managers and/or staff. Responsible for ensuring Service & Setup Standards: Miscellaneous: 1. Conduct meeting/conference space site tours to potential clients - on going 2. Attend local associations and affiliations meetings and events on an as needed basis 3. Attend tradeshows as assigned. Travel may be required. 4. Inspects rooms/halls for conformance to needs and desires of group. 5. Arranges publicity, special functions, resolves complaints, and performs other duties to promote goodwill. 6. May assist with on-site staffing and registration.
Requirements: The following qualifications are required for the Catering & Banquet Sales Manager position: Increasingly responsible fulltime supervisory/management experience providing event sales, promotions, coordination and over­sight, efficiently and effectively exhibiting excellent customer service. Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application. Must be able to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification.
