This requirement exists in Advanced Global Strike within Advanced Boeing Military Aircraft to support the Business Development Senior Manager. Responsibilities include identifying Department of Defense (DOD) capability shortfalls and coordinating Boeing initiatives to fill these gaps with solutions that meet customer requirements. The majority of the programs that will be directly supported are proprietary to Boeing and involve classified access on several levels. Working across the technology risk reduction initiatives that are underway at all our Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) sites is required in order to develop best of industry solutions that meet customer needs. Experience as a Capture Team Leader is desired. Provides expertise in the development of customer solutions. Consults with management to balance customer expectations and company resources. Utilizes advanced knowledge of Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), Air Force and Navy capability gaps that generate aircraft and weapons requirements/opportunities. Direct operational and developmental customer contacts/briefings are central to the duties of this analyst. Drafting business strategies, contact plans, resource requirements and internal briefs for management commitment are necessary duties. Will maintain and advance customer relationships to proactively address future needs and identify future business opportunities as well as lead, develop and execute a sales and marketing campaign utilizing Integrated Business Acquisition Processes (IBAP). Balances the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP). Drives sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers needs. Crafts campaign specific strategies, procures resources and secures management commitment to ensure successful execution. Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors products and services to develop a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of specific competitor activities and their impact on company strategy to improve our competitive position. Establishes a broad network of contacts and knowledge base to act as a broker of knowledge to multiple customer needs. Develops customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and to foster business growth with acceptable margins. Maintains and advances customer relationships to proactively address future needs. Leads preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensures correct members and resources are included in the team.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have experience with U.S. Navy or U.S. Air Force campaigns/programs?

Do you have experience with Department Of Defense requirements development, or acquisitions, or budgeting processes?

Do you have experience in Air Force or Navy aircraft/weapons operations?

Typical Education/Experience

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
