In this Marketing & Strategy role, you will be part of a fast moving, energetic team that values new ideas, curiosity, adaptation and positivity. You will collaborate with sales, account management, and other business teams to gather data and engage stakeholders. You will be responsible for market-facing projects that influence the way Performant is perceived by current and future customers. And you will be expected to jump into a new project assignment at any given moment.

Responsibilities
•Lead/co-lead projects that have been identified as a top priority such as advising the business on industry and market trends, boot-strapping competitive pricing models, figuring how new government policies and regulations will impact business revenues and growth, pulling nuggets-of-wisdom from data for new service ideas, and collaborating with business partners to develop new business proposals
•Plan and apply process to get work done effectively and on time
•Craft analyses and business cases that influence decisions
•Support the Marketing & Strategy team
Requirements
•Research, Public Policy, or Management Consulting experience highly desired
•Strong analytic/process mindset
•Demonstrated ability to manage projects with many moving parts and stakeholders
•Deal well with stress (able to maintain positive attitude)
•Able to stay humble
•Organized, efficient, and willing to get better at both
•Not afraid to speak your mind (assertive when necessary)
•Not afraid of constructive criticism
•Able to traverse detail as well as the big picture
•Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn and teach
•Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related field
Essential Functions:
•Apply strong business acumen to understand business and market
•Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis in the context of complex market and business issues on tight deadlines.
•Collaborate with sales, account management, and other business teams to gather data and engage stakeholders.
•Research and advise on industry and market trends
•Build competitive pricing models
•Identifying how new government policies and regulations will impact business revenues and growth
•Pulling nuggets-of-wisdom from data for new service ideas
•Collaborating with business partners to develop new business proposals.
•Lead/co-lead market-facing projects that influence the way Performant is perceived by current and future customers.
•Support development of analysis, tools and programs to support marketing and strategy aligned with business needs
•Effectively jump into a new project assignment at any given moment.
•Lead by example, provide a strong work ethic, a “can do” attitude and be highly productive.
•Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and demonstrates respect for people, diversity and the business
•Work at least 8 hours a day and more when need arises- you are excited about what you are building and contributing to, not watching the clock

Other Requirements:
•Sit/stand/walk 8-12hr/day
•Lift/carry/push/pull under and over 10lbs occasionally
•Keying frequency, handling, reaching, fine manipulation
•Travel as required – potentially 10-20% of time
Education and Experience:
•5+ years progressive experience with similar responsibilities in fast-paced, dynamic organization(s)
•Research, Public Policy, or Management Consulting experience is a plus
•Experience in companies with customers/products in Commercial Healthcare and/or Government space preferred
•BA/BS in Marketing, Business Management, or related field
