DESCRIPTION

HealthTexas Medical Group is looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant for a full-time, non-exempt position. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.

Required knowledge of Medicare and healthcare plan options.

DUTIES

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
handle inbound calls from agents, clinic personnel and general public inquiries

prepare/mail letters for community events

prepare and mail welcome packet information to new patients on monthly basis

customer service calls/items from agents, clinic personnel and patients

agent point-of-contact

provide Low Income Subsidy assistance for patients

maintain literature and SWAG inventory

lead intake disbursement

data entry of leads, phone calls, etc.

PCP transfer facilitator

prepare/mail Age-In letters to patients

update/maintain marketing calendar

update/maintain information packets

coordinate/track AP (POs, invoices, etc)

coordinate clinic camp-outs for agents

help create internal flyers/community event pieces

update/maintain/distribute Xymogen literature

create/update/distribute physician bios

create/post social media blogs

update HTMG website calendar/blogs

assist at main lobby front desk regularly and as needed

attend/help organize key community events

prepare disenrollment list for Community Resource Coordinator

prepare/disseminate/follow-up disenrollment list to clinic managers for review

QUALIFICATIONS

bilingual in English/Spanish

comfortable multi-tasking

well organized

able to work within deadlines

dependable

knowledge of Medicare and health plan options is required

working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook

social media savvy

strong customer service skills

strong telephone skill set

occasional evening and weekend work

2 years minimum Marketing experience
