Under the limited supervision of marketing management the Traffic Coordinator (TC) will facilitate, organize, assign and track for timely completion, ~3,000 + sales collateral and marketing promotion production jobs, in various media, per year.

Specific Job Duties:
  • General Coordinating: Create a production plan and schedules for ~20 core cyclical promotion pieces and many other non-cyclical pieces produced annually, as directed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Project Coordinating: The TC proactively monitors projects and advises the Marketing Manager of potential obstacles to completion. The TC is responsible for maintaining an overview of production status on all production jobs in the system, answering questions about job status, and implementing directions to shift production job priority in the system.
  • Facilitating: Understand the work capacities in various departments/producer groups (i.e. writers group, graphics), collaborate with these groups and assign work tasks. Works with the Marketing Manager to assign production tasks.
  • Communicating: The TC physically routes job files between various content producers or sign-off authorities to secure appropriate approval and meet deadlines. The TC is responsible for knowing the production schedules for all projects and communicating schedules effectively with producers, reviewers and editors of work throughout the whole production cycle.
  • Process Improving: Participate in teams to facilitate the most efficient use of labor and other resources in the production of Threshold sales collateral and marketing promotion jobs. Work with management to improve the production process.
  • Report Production: Deliver production reports to management as requested.
  • Office Support: The TC is responsible for other office support functions, like being the point person to order office supplies, being the lead on organizing office space, supporting the launch of new staff, and so on.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

  • Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Highly organized. Proven record of administrative support experience with coordinating high volume workflows.
  • Initiative and follow-through. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to type 60wpm or better.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs, email, Internet and various computer file formats.

  • Skills and/or Training Desired:
  • Previous marketing and/or nutrition industry experience.
