This experienced, results driven individual will be a key member of the eCommerce team for Bluestem Brands, Inc. He/she is responsible for the day-to-day management of web site metrics, customer behavior and site KPI's and additional projects as required.
Key areas of responsibility, qualifications and required skill sets:
Complete unstructured and ad-hoc analyses for on-site and off-site activities.
Analyze web usage data to derive deeper learnings and insights about the website experience and consumer behavior. This includes analyzing e-Commerce sales performance, mining data from multiple sources, conducting analysis and identifying opportunities to grow the e-Commerce business.
Lead and drive insights from data/consumer behavior to suggest or create improvements and efficiencies for website. Partner with Marketing and I.S. to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
Identify root cause for problem resolution and identify the corrective action plan/request as requirements for development to address.
Serve as a subject matter expert for redesign solutions (i.e. enhancements to system) and defect resolution.
Research best practices and incorporate industry standard web analytics best practices and methodologies (e.g., testing, behavioral targeting) into web operations.
Create and manage the production and distribution of dashboards and standard reports and analysis from varied data sources for presentation to key stakeholders.
Ensure website tracking is accurate by working with information technology, e-Commerce and merchandising stakeholders.
Develop compelling supporting materials for sales and marketing presentations
One (1) to three (3) years analytics and reporting experience
Strong aptitude for problem solving and curiosity
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
eMarketing and web experience
Proficient database skills (e.g. SQL ,SAS)
Experience with display, email marketing and search
Proficient experience with Microsoft suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
Functional knowledge of websites
Experience utilizing web analytics tool sets including but not limited to Google Analytics and Site Catalyst
