The NBC News Digital Group marketing analyst will be a member of the Marketing Strategy Department and will support three main areas: the monetization of our portfolio of websites, the execution and refinement of the “Always On” go-to-market strategy, and both external and internal messaging in the form of events and sales materials.

The marketing analyst will support several key Marketing areas, including:

  • Main Sales Presentation
  • Brand Presentations for NBC News, msnbc, TODAY, Breaking News, iVillage
  • Category Presentations for Top Advertising Categories
  • Videos
  • Research Packaging
  • Sales Collateral (sell sheets, email blasts, and merchandising)
  • Industry trend education
  • Trade & Client Events
  • Packaging of New Products


  • Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science/Engineering or Marketing
  • 0-1 years of marketing and/or event-related experience within the media industry
  • Solutions-oriented thinker who can operate within a de-centralized organization and has a proven ability to get things done while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Service-oriented mentality; constantly seeking ways to help the other teams and the organization as a whole be more successful, efficient, and effective
  • An interest in event-planning and willingness to travel
  • Robust understanding of advertising within the Digital eco-system
  • Solid project management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Google Docs
  • Early-adopter who embracing new technologies preferred
  • Media industry experience a plus
