VerticalResponse is looking for a Marketing Analyst to execute the day-to-day analytics and operations aimed to convert higher numbers of new sign-ups into verified sign-ups on through to first time purchase and loyal customers.

Marketing analytics. Be able to integrate data from internal systems, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, KissMetrics and more to tell a story about what is driving the business. Please highlight your experience with these and any other related tools. Bonus points for custom reports demonstrating skills with these tools.
Define data, analytics, and reporting requirements for new initiatives across marketing tactics - Email Marketing, Paid Search, Organic Search, Affiliate Marketing, Display Marketing
Organize and manage cross-tactic marketing data
Support Marketing Managers with analytical insights and recommendations
Standardize and broaden marketing metric reporting and tracking
Develop new ways of viewing and analyzing marketing data
Conduct research on and provide insight into industry / competitive marketing trends
Improve marketing operations and increase efficiencies.
Stay informed about, communicate, and apply new or current trends and best practices in online marketing
Communication. Based on the above, you are going to need to excel at communicating complex ideas in simple, compelling bites. In particular, if you love to write, you will have plenty of opportunity to hone your skills.
Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or related discipline
Excel master. Experience using Salesforce. Experience with Marketo, Google Analytics, and KissMetrics a plus.
1 to 4 years of business experience (ideally in SaaS)
Email marketing best practices knowledge and knowledge of email marketing success metrics a plus
Strong attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Highly motivated, takes initiative, and able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
Comfort level dealing with all levels in the organization from support to CEO
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively operate with high energy, flexibility, and enthusiasm
Comfortable with public speaking
Comfortable with social media
Ability to travel as needed
Proof of eligibility to work in the US
