Marketing Analytics Lead
Lead internal consulting projects to optimize customer loyalty and rewards programs. Gather and analyze data on customer performance, preferences and needs, and complete quantitative analyses using statistical software packages such as SAS/SQL and UNIX. Provide analytical support for new product development initiatives by identifying opportunities and potential markets to drive customer engagement and profitable growth. Develop business cases and profitability projections to evaluate new marketing investment proposals. Research market conditions and recommend test/control methodologies for marketing strategies and track performance of past initiatives to recommend future improvements. Collaborate with U.S. Cards, Marketing, Finance and Technology to drive cross-functional efforts to improve bottom-line performance. Prepare and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management.
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Operations Research or related quantitative discipline and 3 years of experience in the offered position or as a Project Manager/Marketing Analyst, Risk Analyst, or closely related analytics position, in credit card industry. Experience must include: Utilizing statistical analysis, Unix and SAS/SQL for data analysis and manipulation and modelling, and presenting recommendations to senior management; utilizing knowledge of credit risk and/or marketing analytics to develop strategies for optimizing the performance of credit card rewards and loyalty programs; and Developing marketing strategies to support new product development and initiatives. 40 hrs/wk.
