Members of the marketing team perform a variety of functions to develop and promote the Direct Agents brand.Job Description -- Marketing Assistant :Candidates will work on day to day marketing projects, as well as conceptualize and implement marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:Develop and execute marketing initiatives to recruit and retain large brand clients, both domestically and internationallyPerform market research on industry trends, events, advertising and speaking opportunities for Direct AgentsAssist all Direct Agents departments with sales presentations and pitchesProspect new clients and track new client inquires for Direct Agents Advertising Sales TeamHelp write press releases, blog posts and editorial pieces for public relations initiativesAssist in maintaining the company website and blogAssist in updating and developing the companys social media outlets including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google +Contribute to overall company marketing team performance by providing innovative ways to grow the Direct Agents brandHelp organize and execute company presence at industry conferences and events. This will involve contacting vendors and coordinating logistics for each show.As candidates gain experience, they will have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and those that succeed may be asked to take on a management role.Requirements :Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Advertising, Business, Communications or English preferredAt least 1 year of marketing experience with a media agency or related industryExperience with Public Relations and writing press releasesExceptional organizational, time-management, and planning skills with a strong attention to detailExcellent written, oral communication, and telephone skillsStrong computer skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and WordWorking knowledge of HTML a plusCompensation :Competitive Base salary determined by experience.Competitive and comprehensive benefits plan.
