POPSUGAR is looking for a creative, driven individual to join the team as our Marketing Assistant. Our ideal candidate has excellent online media skills, can spot trends in the making, and has a strong knowledge and interest in fashion and beauty blogging. The main responsibility for this position will be to help the development and creation of POPSUGAR's fashion and beauty blogger network. If you're up on the latest blogging trends, and are eager to work for a thriving, growing online publication, we want to hear from you! This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position located at POPSUGAR's headquarters in downtown San Francisco.
Assist in planning and execution of marketing campaigns
Support the creation of POPSUGAR's blogger network by researching and selecting bloggers, managing blogger outreach and relations, and developing social media campaigns
Assist marketing team with day-to-day tasks such as blogger and partner campaigns, keeping track of blogger database, and building social media efforts
Assist with other general marketing and communications tasks and special projects that may arise
Educational emphasis and 1 year of professional experience in marketing, communications, or related field
Strong passion for and grasp of the blogging, fashion and beauty arenas
Knowledge of online media, especially as it relates to blogging
Superior attention to details and deadlines
Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
