DESCRIPTION

Provides clerical and administrative support to the marketing and advertising departments in the daily operations of the department by performing the duties outlined below.

DUTIES

Assembles reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting and summarizing information, graphs and presentations.Keeps updated competitor information and generates weekly reports by visiting website, social media pages, compiling, consolidating, summarizing information and distribution reports. Communicates with the Casino marketing agency as instructed by the Marketing Director.Proofs operations and marketing material including but not limited to mailers, website, social medical, pages, gaming brochures, promotions and tournament information.Maintains all department files, including print orders, invoices, requisitions, vendor listings and purchase orders.Maintains media file and photo files and assists with other miscellaneous department filing.Maintains current material files, including magazines, newspapers, media kits, vendor listings and purchase orders.Processes outgoing material and maintains appropriate copies for department files, including UPS, FAX, Federal Express, photo and messenger services.Assist the Marketing Manager with the daily operation of the department, runs errands within the Casino, answers phones and sends faxes.Assists the Marketing department with training of all new hires within the department.May be required to attend trade shows, seminars and participate in marketing/gaming related education opportunites. Must be available on call and to work overtime when necessary.must be availabel to work all shifts as needed.Other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or General Equivalency degree (GED); plus two years general office experience with heavy emphasis on computer skills and word processing, or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Must be 21 years of age.
