The Marketing Associate assists in all communications, marketing and publicity efforts in support of the organization’s communications goals. Takes lead in social media initiatives. Works closely with the Vice President of Development and Public Relations and the Communications Manager.
Some of the functions of the Marketing Associate include:
Help design, -write, edit and produce printed materials, which may include e-alerts, brochures, fliers, posters, postcards and other organizational collateral.
Manage the content on new CHN website including program descriptions, highlights, event postings and graphics.
Assist in creating and maintaining CHN’s social media presence including Facebook, Flickr and other applications as they are developed.
Maintain files of editorial mentions and ads, as well as the display racks of articles and fliers. Prepare press kits as needed.
Take photos at CHN events and maintain photo archive.
Post event material on CHN portal.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, public relations or journalism
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: ’
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with careful attention to detail
