The Field Marketing Associate plans, executes and measures marketing tactics & strategies that are aligned with organizational objectives to drive greater business growth, customer penetration and profitability. The Marketing Associate ensures thorough implementation and execution of marketing programs.
In collaboration with the Market/Division leadership teams; development and implementation of annual marketing plans and programs for assigned Divisions.
Execute on marketing plans, for multiple projects, utilizing various marketing tactics & strategies to support revenue growth and customer acquisition, cross/up-sell and retention.
Assist with the fulfillment of appropriate marketing materials, as well as marketing co-op dollars, to support market level events and programs.
Participate in select market events and programs as well as local HBA related initiatives and shows to continuously expand knowledge of markets and customers.
Communicate marketing initiatives, programs and promotions to store leadership, operations and sales teams on a regular basis.
Assist with the development and distribution of marketing materials and programs, including, but not limited to, sales collateral, promotional programs, new product launches, loyalty programs, newsletters, internet and intranet content and presentations. Provide regular updates and reporting, as requested.
Coordinate the logistics of tradeshows and other related corporate events by working with the Market/Location leadership team, design team and other external vendors as required.
Work with vendors, such as marketing firms and agencies, promotional groups, graphic designers, printers, industry associations to ensure timely completion of marketing projects.
Monitor inventory of marketing and promotional materials and make recommendations on required actions.
Maintain listing of market management, sales management and sales support team members.
Screen and address sponsorship requests.
Collaborate and work with Product Mgt and Market/Division leadership teams on special projects.
Other duties as required by company management.
Accountable for operating within budgetary guidelines.
Attend training and development activities as required.
BASIC SPECIFICATIONS :
Minimum education required—Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing/Communications preferred.
Minimum experience required—4 years experience in a marketing role with increasing responsibility
Special skills required—Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and ability.
Special knowledge required— Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Other— Multi-tasking abilities; Strong platform and communication skills, must be a team player and able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed organization.
