Cloudant’s customers build really cool apps, and we’re looking for someone to help us tell the world about them! Cloudant’s database as a service (DBaaS) is used by companies of all sizes to create software that educates people better, that helps discover new cures, that makes businesses more productive, and that keeps millions entertained.
We are seeking someone with 3+ years of marketing communications, public relations and social media experience to help us raise awareness of Cloudant. The position reports to Cloudant’s Director of Communications.
The ideal candidate must be very self motivated and relish operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Create customer marketing content that communicates how and why people use Cloudant – interviews, blog articles, web pages, press releases, video interviews, presentations
Work with Cloudant’s PR agency to support media and analyst relations, speaking opportunities, and awards programs
Use social media tactics to raise awareness of Cloudant and grow our following
3 years experience in marketing communications and PR
Mind-blowing written communication talent and a creative flair
Great social media know-how
Experience creating videos, presentations, infographics, either directly or via an outside graphic design agency
Familiarity with SEO and methods for measuring communications program success
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and build excellent rapport with internal teams; strong teamwork is a must
The more you know about software development, the better. Experience at a B2B tech firm is a plus.
