The Marketing Communications Specialist II is responsible for the creation and maintenance of copy and content for marketing collateral, presentations, training materials, strategy documents and other related materials. The role consults with marketing, product development, sales, provider representatives, subject matter experts and senior executives to obtain information on products and services to develop communication materials and strategies to reach our targeted audiences. The candidate must have exceptional writing and content management skills, along with outstanding oral communications skills. It is essential that the candidate have the ability to create captivating content in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Experience writing content for multiple communications channels and media (print, online, video, social, mobile, etc.) is preferred. The position collaborates with internal departments and external partners to ensure concepts, designs, messaging and positioning of all sales and marketing materials are consistent with overall brand strategies and compliant with state regulations.
Strong editorial and proofreading skills to align copy with AP Style Guide and brand standards. Ability to work within time constraints. Ability to translate corporate strategies and new product inititiatives into strong sales messages in a broad range of communication vehicles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or related field
- 3 to 5 years communications, marketing, copywriting
- Experience in a corporate environment or in a similar fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
