We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist who will play a leading role in developing/writing/delivering company-wide and marketing specific messages and communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for distilling main communication points and creating supporting marketing materials.
Ability to draft and edit marketing materials (i.e., press releases, sell sheets, brochures, ads and tradeshow materials).
Play leading role on AcuSport Communications (internal & external) project team.
Creates and maintains marketing communication calendar, making updates for key initiatives.
Coordinate, analyze, communicate and finalize all promotional program details.
Ability to assist Brand Manager with key brand and marketing initiatives.
Support communications related to National Sales Meeting, Retailer Advisory Board Meetings, and annual AcuSport Business Conference.
Support and assist with company market research initiatives.
Qualified candidates will possess at least an associates degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Marketing Communications (or equivalent) as well as at least one year of marketing communications experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Copy-writing and editorial skills.
Team player who enjoys collaboration with retailers and internal co-workers.
Excellent written and oral communications.
Ability to organize tasks and work independently.
Ability to create high level of customer satisfaction in user and customer communities.
Ability to prioritize tasks based on criteria provided by supervisor.
Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Research and utilize all forms of multi-media to effectively communicate.
Ability to obtain quotes, make cost comparisons and recommendations.
Build relationships with key influencers and industry representatives that support and enhance the company brand.
