The Biller Solutions Division within Fiserv offers hosted technology solutions for consumer billing and payment to companies of all sizes and industries. Our solutions equip companies with the ability to offer their consumer base electronic paperless billing (e-bills) and electronic payments (one-time, card funded, recurring, registered, ACH funded, etc.) in channels including the company’s website, bank or financial institution websites, via the phone or through walk-in locations like Walmart. Our clients are varied and include small local water companies, medium sized regional electric utilities and large national auto lenders, credit card issuers and telco/wireless providers. We also operate a direct to consumer website called MyCheckFree.com.
The Marketing Consultant will be a member of the marketing team within the Biller Solutions Division at Fiserv. The role of the marketing team is to 1) work with internal and external clients to drive consumer electronic billing and payment transactions, 2) equip our sales and account teams with tools and materials to help them retain and win business and 3) maintain our market leadership position in the industry.
The marketing team collaborates with the product management, sales and account teams within the Biller Solutions Division and also works with the product and marketing teams within other divisions of the company, and with corporate marketing.
Manage key marketing relationships with biller clients for the purposes of collaboratively driving consumer electronic billing and payment. This includes the creation of marketing roadmaps and suggestions for potential marketing investment by Fiserv.
Understand all billing and payment channels utilized by consumers and develop effective marketing programs to acquire new users and increase transactions by current users.
Collaborate with data analytics team to develop and track metrics and ROI for executed marketing programs with an eye toward using results for sales tools like case studies or public relations.
Seek out and synthesize relevant market research and use it to drive marketing programs, influence the market or inform product copy/design/features.
Provide recommendations to clients on how to best position their billing and payment options on their website and through other communication vehicles.
Lead creative concept development process as needed by liaising with creative agencies and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Lead consumer focus group projects as need arises.
Represent Fiserv at industry and client conferences as the need arises.
Partner with Biller Solutions product marketing managers to develop sales collateral.

Required Qualifications:Education :
Requires Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications or business

Wide range of communication skills both written and verbal. Able to communicate with technical and business staff. Strong presentation and client-facing skills.
5-7 years of experience in consumer, online, financial services or electronic billing and payment marketing, including management of marketing campaigns
Additional Skills/Knowledge :Skills Desired:
Experience with the financial services industry or in the billing and payment industry.
Applicant must be team-oriented; able to resolve conflicts constructively.
Applicant must be quick learner with a “roll up the sleeves” approach.
