Key Responsibilities

Defines and develops strategic marketing content that aligns with marketing campaigns and programs

Researches, develops, writes, and edits a full range of marketing materials, to including web content, white papers, presentations and other creative marketing


Creates nominations for corporate and industry recognition (company and individuals)

Works directly and collaboratively with members of the creative team and business partners to develop and produce effective marketing materials in line with strategic business plans

Facilitates brainstorm sessions; recognizes ideas that should go forward

Writes concise, informative, and engaging copy that compliments creative ideas

Works cross functionally to ensure consistency of message across audiences

Monitors projects to ensure creative intent is not diluted

Strong marketing writer


Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills


Strong presentation skills, able to communicate both tactically and strategically with the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale


Brings processes, technology or people solutions to the table with regard to the creative process.


Demonstrates expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translates business intent into creative strategies


Demonstrates understanding of intended audience, internal and external clients. Public Sector preferred.


Proven ability to coach and challenge design team to improve the effectiveness of creative


Positive outlook and attitude - someone who naturally builds good rapport with team members


Able to consistently deliver quality work on time


Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years IT services/solutions marketing, research and writing experience
  • Industry, sales and/or channel experience a plus
  • Public Sector industry experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Mastery knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
  • Working knowledge of public sector industry or customer segment and offerings, accounts
  • Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines
  • Excellent ability to influence and drive consensus
