The purpose of the Marketing Assistant is to provide broad-based support to all members of the marketing team as well as oversee department programs. They will serve as liaison with branches, coordinating distribution of all marketing materials and helping to prepare new branches for opening. The marketing assistant will also be responsible for providing tracking and reporting support for all member promotions; processing invoices and tracking the department budget; distributing Informa competitive reports; coordinating print orders and delivery of all print materials to branches, inventory or third party vendors; coordinating monthly statement inserts; oversee coordination and fulfillment of 21 st Birthday program; and messaging with statement partner, preparing presentations for, attending and recording quarterly marketing committee meetings. The Marketing Assistant will also aid in planning events such as the Annual Meeting, Charter Member receptions, employee events (LI Ducks and NY Islanders), and branch grand openings.

Must be extremely strong in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Strong verbal skills - take notes and prepare minutes of Marketing Committee Meetings

Professional telephone manner

Strong interpersonal/written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multi-task

Ability to Proofread

College Degree or Business school graduate preferred

Marketing course of study helpful but not required

1 - 3 years related experience
