Job Description:
ICF International is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our Corporate Marketing Group in Fairfax, VA. The successful candidate will join a 40+ person marketing and communications team reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations. The Marketing Coordinator is instrumental in helping the marketing team fulfill its mission in support of ICF’s growth objectives, including raising brand awareness and generating leads. This position will be responsible for managing the administrative needs of the team and supporting marketing activities. The Marketing Coordinator will work collaboratively with other team members and interact with internal personnel, clients, and vendors. This position will have the ability to help ensure that the Marketing team is being run effectively and represent ICF’s brand appropriately to internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor email and voicemail boxes and appropriately route to key personnel

Process invoices and expenses from the company credit card and marketing leadership team

Manage relationships with outside vendors who support marketing, including corporate merchandise, catering, events management, and other sub-contractors

Maintain and ensure effective use of the marketing team SharePoint site, where all marketing files are stored

Plan and coordinate assorted bi-weekly campaign coordination of meetings including meeting set up, note taking, and monitoring

follow through of action items

Provide project support for Marketing 2012, a year long program to more strategically support ICF’s corporate priorities and report marketing performance

Support the maintenance of icfi.com by writing, editing, and posting key content on the firm’s website

Fulfill marketing collateral requests, as well as, tracking/maintaining supply

Support the data clean-up, organization and loading of contacts into Salesforce.com (SFDC)

Provide planning, research, and technical support for ad-hoc marketing projects

Support marketing campaign and operations activities as needed

Other administrative duties for Fairfax-based team as needed

Basic :
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline

1 year of experience in a professional office environment

Experience with MS Office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Desire to learn about marketing in a professional services firm

Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Comfortable learning new systems (e.g., SharePoint and SalesForce.com) and ways to present information graphically

Enjoyable to be around under a variety of circumstances

Strong interpersonal, research, and organizational skills from an individual who is not afraid to take initiative and can stay on schedule

Strong attention to detail in a subject matter- and deadline-driven environment

International experience highly desirable

Professional Skills:
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy

Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team

Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

Strong critical thinking and decision making capabilities

Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
