– is responsible for working with the Market Manager to create and lead a culture of Local Relationship Marketing in their market(s) including training and overseeing the execution of restaurant level LRM plans, market-wide partnerships and events, and analyzing trends to anticipate sales building needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and lead a culture of LRM in market(s) of responsibility

Work with Market Manager and Marketing Director to develop annual Marketing Calendars for each shop

Serve as the primary contact and corporate resource for all local relationship marketing/national brand support requirements

Develop and measure ROI on market-wide partnerships and events that drive traffic and build the brand

Train and lead shop teams in conjunction with the Market Manager on LRM planning including identifying sales building needs, trade area analysis, identifying partners, and applying efficient LRM tactics to those partners

Train shop teams on evaluation of local donation and sponsorship opportunities

Create all collateral related to LRM programs using our online fulfillment system

Manage marketing and discount budget to insure sales building tactics fit within budget parameters

Work with Finance team to run pre and post ROI analysis on all major market-wide initiatives

Analyze sales and profit reporting to anticipate trends in underperforming stores/markets and adjust marketing plans accordingly

Develop and lead execution of New Store Opening plans, monitor sales trends and modify plan as necessary to build sales sustainably for the first 12 months of operation

Monitor competitive environment and adjust plans accordingly

Spend 80% of time in shops training and leading the LRM effort, including occassional overnight travel and weekend work

Manage activation of national initiatives (Gray Gaulding/Cruiser/Mobile Store)

Direct report to Marketing Director

Essential skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in QSR or other retail category over multiple markets

Proficiency in use of personal computers, Windows 2010, Microsoft Office and online research.

Strong interpersonal, communication, diplomacy, and conflict resolution skills

Ability to think strategically and implement in a timely manner

Self- motivated work ethic, team player orientation, and a character consistent with Krispy Kreme brand beliefs

Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar major with concentration in Marketing preferred
