DESCRIPTION

A Marketing Coordinator is responsible for generating opportunities for the company to provide its services. This is accomplished by crafting and promoting a positive image of the company in the minds of decision makers within markets served by the company. DUTIES

Specifically, the marketing representative organizes, coordinates, and controls all activities involved in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other marketing submittals. Gathers information about client and project prospects, and participates in the development of proposal strategy in support of the company's senior staff and other marketing representatives. Interacts with marketing staff and senior staff in other firm offices. Coordinates meetings and other interaction between staff and potential clients. Participates in the development of and is responsible for the maintenance of all marketing resource materials, such as brochures, project descriptions, resumes, photographs, and client database. Completes standard government forms, and private sector statements of qualification. In association with senior staff, coordinates and compiles materials for client presentations and interviews. Helps to establish and promote consistent corporate image. Maintains mailing lists and prepares client newsletters, mailings, and postcards. Coordinates work with outside advertising vendors. Measures success of marketing efforts and prepares reports. Assists and encourages senior staff with seminars, presentations, and conferences. Engages with clients, the community, professional groups, and the press to improve and enhance the firm's image. Prospects and cold calls for new clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

The employee may occasionally be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Work is performed under all weather conditions, sometimes on construction sites or in difficult terrain, and sometimes involves extensive standing and walking.
Education - Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or science/engineering related field.
Experience - Five years of experience marketing professional services.
Must possess a valid driver's license, ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills, must be comfortable communicating with the public, must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments.
