The University of Indianapolis seeks applications for a Marketing Coordinator. This is a full-time, exempt staff position.
The marketing coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience to support key University marketing goals and objectives. Some of these key goals include enhancing the University’s awareness, reputation, enrollment, and engagement. The marketing coordinator is involved with all University advertising venues, from print to digital media, and works closely with numerous internal and external entities.
•In conjunction with the Director of Marketing, develop and implement marketing plans for graduate and undergraduate programs, colleges, schools, and other organizational entities.
•Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to develop various forms of advertising and promotion (e.g., print, digital, electronic, billboard).
•Work with internal departments and outside agencies to assist in planning, managing, monitoring, and analyzing media buys.
•Maintain solid working relationships with deans, chairs, faculty, and staff.
•Support digital marketing efforts including web content and social media.
•Assist with marketing research efforts, including competitive intelligence.
•Mange student workers as needed.
•Submit monthly reports.
•Other projects as assigned.
Special Instructions to Applicants
Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required, as are a minimum of two years of relevant marketing experience. Strong interpersonal skills in the areas of verbal and written communications, customer focus, professionalism, and persuasion. Collaborative team player with excellent project management skills; experience with various advertising channels (e.g. print, radio, and digital); ability to think strategically and creatively; and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills (Additional Qualifications)
Media planning and media-buying skills. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign. Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
