Utilizing your creativity, originality and dedication to providing the best information to our consumers, we will rely on you to develop creative copy and content to promote BARBRI products and services for both B2C and B2B markets, in digital and print mediums.
Research, view, use and analyze information about the Companys products and services to gain understanding of purpose, use and value proposition. Use or view products and services in action to build awareness. Research, read, analyze and synthesize information about the Companys target audiences to determine their desires and needs. Write, edit and proof copy for emails, multiple websites, flyers, print and online advertising, brochures, blogs, social media, signage, press releases, internal company announcements, letters, how-to manuals, forms, mobile, whitepapers, videos, etc. Produce creative, compelling, clear and relevant copy and content for all media. Observe all brand guidelines, including Company style, tone of voice, and messaging. Adhere to all branding standards, while communicating directly, clearly and in an engaging and interesting manner to pique interest in the Companys products and services. Keep copy on website fresh and current. Maximize use of keywords to increase and improve SEO and SEM rankings. Organize workload for efficient time-management. Meet multiple schedule deadlines on time. Review copy using checklist and format copy according to department style guide. Produce error-free content. Check questionable details. Maintain accurate information in product files. Manage updates and changes to product or services definitions, features, availability, etc. Proofread and edit as necessary. Communicate with internal and external customers for the best possible product presentation. Consider laws governing copy such as registered and trademarked symbols, country of origin and material construction.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Journalism, or related field of study. 3-5 years copywriting experience in marketing, communications, advertising or related field required. Strong proofreading experience required. Experience with SEO and SEM highly preferred but not required. Experience in project management preferred but not required. Must have portfolio/online portfolio.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information. Ability to write for a variety of media and audiences with a versatile writing style. Ability to conform writing to prescribed style format. Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills. Ability to accept and learn from constructive criticism. Must be well organized and detail oriented. Must be team oriented but able to work independently on occasion. Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy. Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task. Must be efficient. Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to meet deadlines (possibly working late hours and/or weekends as needed.) Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Concepting experience a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint.
