This position is a FRONT END position for a candidate with more than 5 years of SQL experience as it relates to conducting market and customer analysis This is not a database development position SQL and database experience needed relates to response analytics on marketing campaigns buying behavior analysis customer segmentation and scoring and possible predictive modeling Actual Job Description Marketing Analytics Reporting Role Background MarketingCustomer Insight Analytics role is responsible for supporting Marketing initiatives by constructing and measuring multichannel customer analytics tests driving insights and strategies to build subscriber retention and enterprise profitability our key operating metrics Analyst will gain experience across a variety of clients and applications and interact with various functional areas including marketing IT Finance Therefore must be comfortable both performing and presenting analysis at all levels Required Skills Marketing analyst Reporting COGNOS Campaign Analytics Business Intelligence Web Analytics Call Centre Analytics SASSPSS SQL Regression Analysis Excel VB customer survey satisfaction analytics Job Description bull Analysis Reporting on multichannel campaigns tests and identify key insights such as trends behaviors and relationships impacting campaign performance bull Design and measurement of Test Vs Control analysis Customer Profiling Segmentation Regression analysis and time series analysis bull Every Day front end use of SQL SAS andor other statistical tools bull Create KPI dashboards and automate regular reports where possible bull Developing and delivering customer engagement reports bull Serve as a subject matter expert for available data elements and analytics capabilities related to campaigns and customer retention bull Providing business managers recommendations and insights related to marketing campaigns and enterprise KPIs and initiatives bull Subject matter expert on statistical considerations related to all of the above and statistical best practices bull Organizing and conducting periodic Analytics Review Meeting Qualifications bull 5+ years of experience in pulling manipulating and analyzing data from SQL or Oracle database environment This includes writing queries that create datasets for analysis in a statistical tool such as SASSPSS bull 2+ years of experience in campaign design and analysis using AB testing multivariate testing regression analysis ANOVA or conducting similar experiments 811 years of work experience in marketing advertising consumer research or related field bull Bachelor’s degree in statistics mathematics businessmarketingmanagement or related field is required Masters Degree is preferred bull Working ease with Microsoft Office suite including tools such as Excel PowerPoint Word and Visio bull Comfortable working independently and on a selfguided basis Must be equally comfortable collaborating with others and in teams bull Excellent presentation skills Must be at ease presenting data results to an audience bull Experience of using SASSPSS is a plus bull Prefer an advanced degree in marketing market research psychology or business Position is W2 cognos spss SAS SQL marketing "market analyst" analysis data "data analyst"
