Through various traditional marketing techniques, the Marketing Director will increase brand awareness by attending trade shows, networking at business events, nurturing partnerships with associations and developing relationships with industry publications. Key success factors are to create a plan or strategy that benefits each of our core initiatives; put a marketing team in place and assign responsibilities; and, find ways to capture leads through traditional B-to-B marketing methods. In this role, success will largely be measured based on the ability to create mutually beneficial association partnerships, garner interest within the transportation industry and ultimately increase leads and conversions across all areas of our business.Join our team and become an essential link between prospective customers and our sales departments.Responsibilities: Identify verticals or service-markets that can benefit from our servicesDevelop and implement strategies to drive leads and boost conversionsWork with creative director to approve compelling copy for marketing collateralPerform public relations functions, as well as manage traditional advertisingPlan, coordinate and attend trade shows, conventions and corporate eventsNegotiate contracts with interested business partnersHelp create an annual budget for events, promotional items, advertising, etc.Analyze ROI and execute event or campaign follow-upOversee social media marketing and generate ideas for engaging and growing our audienceMonitor online reputation and customer reviewsManage and grow a team of marketing coordinators and assistantsWork with sales managers on various internal responsibilitiesSkills/ Requirements: B.A. or B.S. in Business, Marketing or English requiredMinimum 2-3 years of Traditional marketing and management experience preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills Experience presenting to various audiences; including: senior management, prospective business partners and event attendeesWillingness and ability to travel (as needed)Strong desire to network and establish long-lasting business-to-business relationshipsCompensation: Competitive salary negotiable based on experience and past performance.
