Boardvantage is looking for a Marketing Generalist to assist our Marketing team. The Marketing Generalist will provide support and assistance in the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan. Also, develop marketing initiatives on the product development and planning stages of service and product launch efforts. Last, the candidate will assist in copyright to protect the company against infringement. The Marketing Generalist will report to our Customer Marketing Manager.

Participates in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the company

Manage implementation and creation of marketing initiatives

Occasional public speaking and delivery of company's presentation

Develops and maintains effective field and core product provider relationships, and enforce creative brand standards throughout all internal and external communications

Assists with corporate communications activities; external and internal communications; public relations and advertising efforts

Assists in the planning and coordination of quarterly marketing training seminars and events for Canadian field force

Oversees company's marketing efforts

Assist in copyright to protect the company's patents

Sets up and coordinates meetings and conferences

Supports the design, development and delivery of marketing pieces

Adept at working within a highly collaborative team with tight deadlines

Performs other duties as required

Required Skills/Experience:
3-4 years within the sales and/or marketing environment in the software industry with evidence of increasing levels of responsibility within a marketing environment

Graphic Design knowledge in Premium Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop) in a Mac OS environment

Ability to read and understand complex reading materials

Strong understanding of doctrine of 17 USCA Section 102(a) and Bill of Rights

Experience in Copyright

Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines on a consistent basis

Professional level computer skills with particular expertise when using MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Proficient knowledge of English grammar required

Professional level communication skill, both oral and written, required
