We are currently seeking an HTML specialist skilled in hand-coding HTML for email and landing pages according to industry best practices. This HTML developer will contribute to the redesign of web sites, banner ads, email campaigns and other digital components for Purchasing Power. This role will consider user experience issues when creating web graphics, animations, user interfaces, icons, style sheets, color schemes, templates and layouts for use in online advertising and web site projects, ensuring sitewide color and typeface standards and consistency. Must be interested in working independently and voicing an opinion in a collaborative environment. HTML and CSS experience is required while Photoshop, Illustrator and CMS experience is beneficial.


Required Skills:
•2-7 years of experience
•Bachelor of Arts in design, advertising, graphic design, communications, marketing or related field
•Working knowledge of email and web design best practices
•Experience with production for email and web is required
•Experience with Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat is a plus.
•Experience with Dreamweaver, HTML, and CSS is required.
•Background in developing creative for digital media.
•Strong proficiency in hand-coding HTML and CSS — knowledge of tables necessary
•Familiarity with HTML email and its quirks across web-based and desktop email clients
