Job Description

Marketing Intern

Tenacious, hard-working journalism or marketing graduate interested in storytelling to assist the Marketing team with developing content to help MedAssets attract, win and retain clients. Special emphasis on:

  • Assisting with development of print and multimedia sales tools to be used in the Plano Customer Lounge, on sales pursuits and online marketing channels
  • Learning storytelling that brings to life services to clients and potential clients
  • Gaining an understanding of company solutions and how we provide value to clients facing healthcare industry issues
Desired Qualifications:
Sophisticated enough to be in front of clients but with humility to roll up sleeves and go above and beyond -- working to multiple deadlines

Opportunity to help create differentiated (beyond print) content to support our sales teams, learn how to market services in a B2B environment and learn about the healthcare industry as we develop content that shows how our solutions impact the C-level and end user

  • Strong communication skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output

Outstanding oral and written skills

Ability to take direction but also work autonomously with minimum supervision when required

Major in Journalism or Marketing preferred -- with knowledge and experience in communications, marketing, sales or healthcare helpful

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output

Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products with an emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Presi would be a plus.
