This person will assist with social media duties and content management support duties. They will be responsible in assisting the Social Media Manager with daily content updates through Team USA social media platforms, and will assist the Sr. Director of Digital Media and Broadcast Services with maintenance, support and defect tracking of the content management system used in publishing Teamusa.org.
Publish content (stories, photos, videos, blogs, etc.) to the Team USA social media platforms
Create shareable graphics to be posted across Team USA social media platforms
Explore and recommend new ways to engage users and grow reach through established and emerging social media platforms
Assist in monitoring, measuring and reporting on social media metrics
Assist as needed with posting to TeamUSA.org
Educational Requirements: Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at the junior or senior level status or enrolled in a Master degree program. Preferred degrees: Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Broadcasting, Graphic Design
AP Style Fluent
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook
Passion for sport and the Ideals of the Olympic Movement
Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports).
Must be eligible to work in the USA
Excellent communication and human relations skills
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment
